Developing Children and Youth With the Arts
Founded in Ghana, West Africa in 2000 by Kelvin Asare-Williams, the Junior Art Club is made up of mostly young creative personalities. It is our aim to identify, train and provide action- oriented skills and job opportunities through product design and marketing. Junior Art Club is a unique place for at-risk children and teens who are interested in not only developing their talents but also making money from their original designs of creativity. Our main area is developing children and youth with the arts in schools in disadvantaged communities in Ghana, led by volunteer artists. Secondary activities include art exhibitions, both locally and internationally, as well as talent competitions, leadership workshops, and excursions.
